Something Worth Watching
So, let me get my journal feet wet here with the following video. This fellow, Joseph Keckler, is a talented performance artist and an operatic singer/songwriter. His latest work is a haunting, dark offering called The Ride. The video finds Keckler traversing Bushwick, the Lower East Side, and the Financial District in a livery cab chauffeured by a modern-day Charon.
Keckler is a performer who can indeed sing, and he possesses a wonderfully deep, bass baritone multi-octave voice that occasionally veers into a soulful falsetto. The Ride is one of his falsetto offerings.
